Warrior Baseball photo album

Welcome to the Warrior photo blog. It is open to everyone and the photos here can be downloaded by anyone wishing to do so. It can become an excellent album to remember a player's career at Massasoit. If you have photos you want to appear here please send them to warriorbaseball@usa.com. This blog will remain for years (I hope). Please let me know whether you would want me to crop and/or color enhance the photos you send in.

The photos are not necessarily in any particular order so you will need to scroll through and even access the archive below to find a particular photo.

Left click on photos and many will open up much larger.

Comments may be left by clicking on the word "comments" and typing your message. My personal email for correspondence is mvl270@yahoo.com

18-5 with some important games coming starting Thursday

The Warriors won two more in bleak weather. If this was horse racing they would be referred to as good mudders.

These two, Arthur and Danny, have played together since they were six years of age playing T-Ball in The Swansea Independent Baseball League. They've had highs and lows together and now have their sights on playing together in the NJCAA Series in Tyler, Texas. The each have overcome injuries which caused them each to miss a season. They've worked out together at a local gym and done miles of running together on the streets of Fall River to rehab their injuries and get back into excellent baseball shape. Both are sub 7 seconds in the 60 yard dash and have pushed one another very hard.

There is more to baseball than simply playing the games, it is about teamwork, loyalty and friendship. This is the sixteenth season this pair has been together. Wherever they land next year, even if they are miles apart the friendship will survive for a lifetime.
The smile is real. Danny reminds me of the American Express commercial where the celebrity says he never leaves home without it. In Danny's case, he never leaves home without his smile.

Victor Llanes says he never leaves home without his raincoat, at least when attending Massasoit games.
