We've aimed at Manchester CC as a serious opponent. Massasoit came into today's action 20-5 and Manchester 15-4-2. In the first the Warriors were held to two hits and Cory Collins took his first collegiate loss, 3-0.
The second game was a horse of a different color. Bobby Buckets Frederikson gained his second win of the season with five strong innings and a save from Andrew Foster. Arthur Lauzier opened the game on an infield hit when he beat the pitcher, who was covering, to first base. He scored on an error. He drove in an insurance run in the sixth with a ringing line drive to right.
We have only a panoramic photo of the very nice Manchester home field. We'll post what we have with whatever we get Sunday against Holyoke CC in Brockton.

Will Massasoit's Warriors repeat as NJCAA Region 21 Chasmps and return to the NJCAA World Series in Tyler, Texas. We'll know by Sunday night.
